The Sweathogs may have gone to class on a Hollywood soundstage, but Bensonhurst's New Utrecht High School served as Buchanan High's exterior in the "Kotter" opening credits.

Subway: D to 79th Street (Brooklyn's elevated West End Line will be familiar to fans of "Kotter", "Saturday Night Fever" and anyone who's seen the famous chase scene in "The French Connection.")
