One of the greatest pieces of television ever. Some very random thoughts:
1) They framed it differently, but Bailey was actually hotter than Jennifer. In the '70s and '80s the media seemed to love the puffy-haired blond girls like Cathy Lee Crosby, but they were mostly just puff. Give me Mary Ann over Ginger any day.
2) An editor friend tells me that the worst project he's ever worked on was repackaging WKRP for DVD release. The problem: they couldn't use the songs that appeared in the show. So, anytime something like "Smoke On The Water" was playing in the background, they had to somehow remove it. No easy task since the show was set in a radio station.
